This foundational chapter introduces the AI Act, explaining its purpose, background, and key objectives. It also outlines the main actors involved in the regulation and their respective roles and responsibilities.

This chapter covers all risk categories defined by the AI Act and explains how AI systems are classified into these levels. Practical examples illustrate the different risk types, and a final exercise allows you to apply the classification approach yourself.

This chapter focuses on the requirements that apply to high-risk AI systems under the AI Act. It examines the obligations in detail and explains them step by step for each involved actor, clarifying their specific roles and responsibilities.

Duration: 20 Minutes

This chapter addresses the requirements for AI systems with transparency risk under the AI Act. It explains the applicable obligations and examines the responsibilities of the relevant actors involved.

Duration: 5 Minutes

This final chapter focuses on general-purpose AI (GPAI). It explains what GPAI is and outlines the regulatory requirements that apply to the relevant actors under the AI Act.
